Kasabian Tear Through Tiny Leeds Show With A Setlist Built For Chaos

Kasabian returned to Leeds on Thursday night for a special Act III album launch show at O2 Academy Leeds, just weeks after their huge appearance at Leeds Festival.

This time, there was no festival field. The band brought their current era into a much smaller room, with a 17-song set that mixed new material with some of the biggest tracks of their career.

They opened with new album track SOULMATE before immediately launching into Club Foot.

New songs including Hippie Sunshine, SUPERPOWERS and NOTHING BETTER THAN THIS appeared alongside fan favourites such as Underdog, Days Are Forgotten, Shoot the Runner, Empire and You’re in Love With a Psycho.

The main set closed with STARGAZR and L.S.F., before Kasabian returned for an encore featuring Ill Ray (The King).

One of the biggest surprises came next, with Reason Is Treason from their 2004 debut making the set before the band finished, inevitably, with Fire.

It was a setlist that showed exactly where Kasabian are in 2026.

The new album was given plenty of room, but the band were still happy to reach right back to their earliest days, with Club Foot, L.S.F. and Reason Is Treason all representing the debut era.

After playing to a huge Leeds Festival crowd only weeks earlier, seeing Kasabian bring the same catalogue into the considerably smaller O2 Academy made this feel like a very different kind of show.
