Lindisfarne Festival closes the British festival summer at Beal Farm, Northumberland, from Thursday 3 to Sunday 6 September 2026, with Faithless, Razorlight and The Proclaimers heading the bill. 3-6 September 2026 at Beal Farm, Beal, Berwick-upon-Tweed, Northumberland. The site sits directly opposite Holy Island, and the sea view from the main arena is genuinely part of the experience rather than marketing copy.
Tickets
Lindisfarne is primarily a camping weekender, with weekend and camping tickets sold through the official site alongside campervan passes and a limited day-ticket allocation. It has grown steadily and now regularly sells out ahead of the gates.

The 2026 line-up
Faithless bring the weekend''s biggest production, Razorlight give it the indie-rock centrepiece, and The Proclaimers supply the singalong that a coastal Sunday absolutely requires. Below the headliners, the bill leans hard into emerging North East acts — which is a big part of why the festival has the reputation it does.
Stage times
Stage times land in the final week via the official app and website. The site is compact enough that clashes are recoverable — you can walk between stages in minutes, which is not something you can say about most festivals this size.
Camping
Camping runs Thursday to Monday morning, with standard, family, boutique and campervan areas. This is coastal Northumberland in September: pegs need to be solid, and a tent that can take wind off the North Sea is not optional. Every year, someone learns this the hard way.
Getting there
Berwick-upon-Tweed is the nearest station, on the East Coast Main Line with direct services from Edinburgh, Newcastle, York and London. Shuttle buses run from Berwick to the site over the weekend. Driving is straightforward off the A1, and parking is pre-booked.
What to bring
- Windproof and waterproof outer layers — both, not one.
- Warm nightwear. September nights on the Northumberland coast get genuinely cold.
- Sturdy tent pegs and a mallet.
- Wellies and a spare pair of dry socks.
- A refillable water bottle.
Weather
Expect daytime highs in the mid-teens, single figures overnight, and wind as the constant factor. Sunshine is entirely possible and the coastal light is spectacular when it arrives — but pack for the worst version of the weekend and enjoy anything better.
Make a trip of it
Holy Island is across the causeway and worth the detour if you are staying locally either side of the festival — check tide times, because the causeway floods twice a day and every year someone ignores it. Bamburgh, Berwick and the Farne Islands are all within easy reach.
Verdict
Lindisfarne is the best-value weekender in the north of England and the strongest volume-to-hassle ratio on this list: a proper coastal site, a bill with three genuine headliners, and a crowd that has not yet outgrown the festival. If you only add one September weekend, make it this one.
