Morrissey Announces Double 7-Inch Single Release

Former Smiths frontman Morrissey has officially confirmed the upcoming release of two brand-new physical singles. In a dispatch posted directly to his official platform, Morrissey Central, it was revealed that the highly anticipated 7-inch discs will arrive globally later this autumn.

Both records are scheduled to drop on the exact same day, the 16th of October 2026, and will be issued under the Sire Records label, a subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

The Tracklists and Unreleased B-Sides

For dedicated vinyl collectors, this double drop offers an exciting glimpse into his recent studio sessions, complete with exclusive, previously unreleased material.

The first 7-inch disc is led by the track "Zoom Zoom The Little Boy". It is backed by a highly anticipated, unreleased B-side titled "Without Music The World Dies", which was co-written by Morrissey and his long-time live keyboardist Gustavo Manzur. The physical release will feature a vintage sleeve image captured by photographer Tina Dehghani.

The second disc features "Kerching Kerching" as its A-side. This release also boasts an unreleased B-side, "Isle Of Dogs", which sees Morrissey collaborating once again with acclaimed guitarist and co-writer Alain Whyte. The accompanying vintage sleeve image for this record was provided by Jake Walters.

French Studio Sessions and Official Videos

All the music featured across both 7-inch releases was recorded in France. The sessions were helmed by legendary producer Joe Chiccarelli, who has been a frequent collaborator with the singer over the past decade.

In addition to the physical vinyl drop, fans can also expect a visual component. The announcement confirmed that Warner Music Group is preparing to release "new and unseen official videos for both songs" to coincide with the physical singles.

Addressing his global fanbase regarding where to secure copies of the upcoming records, the update concluded with a signature piece of dry wit. Noting that the releases will be available worldwide, fans were instructed to "please place your orders at Rough Trade Records, or somewhere else-as you see fit."
