New Order have announced a brand-new collection, The Best & The Rest Of, bringing together two of the band’s well-known compilations alongside a fresh set of remixes.

The collection combines The Best Of New Order and The Rest Of New Order, with the new release set to arrive via Warner Music on 17th July 2026. It will include remastered audio, cut at Abbey Road, as well as previously unreleased mixes from names including Sub Sub, Richie Hawtin and Joe T. Vannelli.

Originally released in 1994, The Best Of New Order pulled together some of the band’s biggest tracks, including ‘True Faith’, ‘Bizarre Love Triangle’, ‘Blue Monday 88’, ‘Regret’ and ‘World in Motion’. A year later, The Rest Of New Order followed as a remix-focused companion release, giving the band’s catalogue a more club-driven twist.

This new collection feels like a tidy celebration of both sides of New Order: the band that wrote massive alternative anthems, and the band that always had one foot planted firmly on the dancefloor. Miserable post-punk roots somehow turning into euphoric electronic bangers.

The announcement also comes in a big year for the band, with Joy Division and New Order confirmed for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2026.

For fans, The Best & The Rest Of looks like more than just another repackage. With remastered audio, unreleased mixes and classic tracks all pulled into one place, it’s a proper reminder of just how much New Order helped shape the space between rock, indie and electronic music.
