Noel Gallagher hasn't watched his upcoming film, which documents the oasis reunion however noel confirms he has started mixing the film's soundtrack
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Noel Gallagher shared the news during a BBC 5 Live appearance on May 15th, the same day he made The Sunday Times' Rich List for the first time.
When asked if he was excited about the film, which is set to come out on September 11th, Gallagher replied,
“I’m more excited to be in the Rich List this morning, let me tell you that.”
But Gallagher quickly challenged the claim that he and his brother Liam are worth £375 million together. He said
“I was lying in bed this morning thinking, I better call my accountant because I know for a fact that I haven’t got that much money.”
Talking about the documentary, Noel admitted,
“I still haven’t seen it, me and our kid still haven’t seen it. They are still tweaking it, I think they want to get it to a point before they show me and Liam. Obviously, people have seen it and saying it’s quite an emotional journey. A lot of it is to do with fans and stuff.”
“It’ll be out September 11th, I believe, and I can’t wait to see it, because I can’t really remember that much about the tour because it was such a whirlwind.”
Even though he hasn’t seen the film yet, Gallagher is working on the music.
“I’m just mixing the sound for it now at my studio; it’s all sounding great, so hopefully it’ll be a hit.”
Along with showing the tour, the film features rehearsal footage, backstage and onstage moments with the band, and the first joint interviews with Noel and Liam Gallagher in more than 25 years.
