Oasis have revealed the announcement time and date for their 2027 tour through a large drone display in Manchester.

The band is expected to tour the UK and Europe next year, following their Live ’25 reunion tour last summer.

Rumoured venues include a 12-night residency in Manchester and a return to Knebworth. The band’s promoter, SJM, has received a license to host concerts at the site of their 1996 Knebworth performances.

Recently, Oasis shared video teasers for additional 2027 tour locations, including Glasgow, Paris, Amsterdam, Boston, and Rome. Another teaser referenced the Etihad Stadium with football-related imagery.

Reports indicated the group was booking the Etihad Stadium, home of Liam and Noel Gallagher’s favoured Manchester City FC. This was nearly confirmed by a large drone display over the stadium last night (Thursday, September 10). The Gallagher brothers, lifelong fans, previously performed at Maine Road in 1996. The design company Microdot—which created Oasis’ iconic band logo and has made various artworks for the band—posted a video of the spectacle on social media.

The video shows Oasis’ logo transforming to display “4PM BST” and then "14.09.26" Fans now expect an announcement regarding the Manchester residency and possibly a full UK, European, and North American tour on Monday afternoon.

Oasis later released an official video of the display above Etihad Stadium and the Manchester skyline at night. Additional footage features their 2005 hit ‘Lyla’ and 2008 single ‘The Shock Of The Lightning', neither of which appeared on the Live 25 tour setlist.

Last year, Oasis used drones for a large display above Manchester’s Heaton Park before their five-night run at the venue. Similar displays occurred in Cardiff, Chicago, and other cities during the tour.

Next week’s tour announcement follows the release of Oasis’ new documentary, Don’t Look Back In Anger, which premiered in cinemas on Wednesday (September 9). In a four-star review, BritRock Heaven stated, “If you are a fan of Oasis, you won’t be disappointed. The film serves the biggest reunion in music history magnificently.” Read BritRock Heaven's Oasis: Don't Look Back In Anger – Documentary Review.
