On August 3, 2024, Audley End in Saffron Walden hosted a memorable evening of live music as part of the Heritage Live series. The concert featured an impressive lineup with Tom Meighan opening, followed by Ocean Colour Scene, and headliner Richard Ashcroft closing the night.
Tom Meighan, formerly the frontman of Kasabian, kicked off the evening with an energetic set opening with "Shout It Out". His performance included other tracks from his solo career, showcasing his evolution as an artist and setting the tone for the night, Tom also included his latest single "White Lies" which was well received by the crowd, the general consensus remains No Tom No Party, there was lot's of love for Tom throughout the crowd.
Next up was Ocean Colour Scene, who brought a blend of nostalgia and vibrancy to the stage. Their setlist was a mix of classic hits and fan favorites, featuring:

- "Profit in Peace"
- "Day Tripper" ( Beatles cover)

The scene was set for headliner Richard Ashcroft as the sun set and the silhouette of the hills and trees provided an idyllic background with the beautiful Audley End House standing to the far left of the stage. Ashcroft delivered a stunning performance, blending his solo work with iconic songs from his time with The Verve. His setlist included:
- "Sonnet"
- "Space and Time"
- "Hold On"
- "Music Is Power"
- "Weeping Willow"
- "Velvet Morning"
- "A Song for the Lovers"
- "Break the Night With Colour"
- "The Drugs Don't Work"
- "Lucky Man"
For the encore, Ashcroft played "C'mon People (We’re Making It Now)" in a unique acoustic-to-full-band arrangement, and closed with the timeless anthem "Bitter Sweet Symphony".
The concert at Audley End was a celebration of British rock, with each artist delivering powerful performances that resonated with the crowd. The historic venue added a special ambiance, making it a night to remember for all in attendance.
